Whether you are the owner of a historic home or are trying to save a local landmark from decay or demolition in Missouri, there are local, state and national grants available to help you.

Start locally; contact your city or county historical societies, departments of Housing, Planning and Economic Development, the Missouri Alliance for Historic Preservation and the State Historic Preservation Office. Familiarize yourself with federal resources available through The National Trust for Historic Preservation, Save America’s Treasures, and the National Register of Historic Places.

In addition to grant funding, there are state and federal tax credits and incentives available to historic home and propertyowners.
