In Episodes 1 and 2 of the “Hidden #History Revealed” podcast, I unraveled the story of how U.S. military intelligence (and later, the CIA) recruited, armed, funded, trained, and protected former German and Ukrainian #Nazis during the #ColdWar.

These truths were kept secret from the American people for more than half a century.

Although a few stories had leaked out over the years, historians were unable to conclusively confirm how extensive the Nazi connection was until Congress passed the Nazi War Crimes Disclosure Act in 1998, which allowed declassification and release of the files.

In Episode 3, I’ll tell you about the efforts of one man — a Department of Justice whistleblower — whose 20 year crusade to expose the facts helped make that law possible.

His name is John Loftus.

As a former prosecutor with the U.S. Justice Department’s Nazi-hunting unit, he had unprecedented access to top-secret #CIA and #NATO archive in the 1970s and 80s.

Now a retired attorney, Loftus has written several books about his discoveries in those underground vaults where the government buries its secrets. His classic works include “The Belarus Secret,” “The Witness Tree,” “The Secret War Against The #Jews” and “America’s Nazi Secret.”

Prepare yourself for a new episode full of shocking revelations! Premiers tonight at 9 Eastern.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is pushing back on the latest attempt by former President Donald Trump and his co-defendants to disqualify her entire office from prosecuting the election subversion case in Georgia, according to a new court filing Monday.

Willis asked the Georgia Court of Appeals to uphold Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee’s initial ruling that allowed her to remain on the criminal case if her top prosecutor, Nathan Wade, resigned. Wade resigned within hours of McAfee’s ruling last month.

The appeals court is weighing a request from #Trump and several others charged in #Georgia to review and overturn McAfee’s earlier decision.

Willis argued on Monday that the appeals court should deny that request.

In Monday’s filing, the Fulton County district attorney’s office insisted again that there was no conflict of interest and said that Willis’ comments about race playing a role in criticism of her office did not rise to misconduct requiring disqualification.

While Willis has attempted to shift attention back to the criminal case itself after the detour over ethics allegations for more than two months, Trump and his co-defendants are still arguing the romantic relationship between Willis and Wade created a conflict of interest.

“At a minimum, DA Willis and her office should have been disqualified from prosecuting the case,” Trump’s lead Georgia-based attorney Steve Sadow wrote when he asked the appeals court to take up his case. “The Georgia Court of Appeals should grant the application and accept the interlocutory appeal for consideration on the merits.”

It is now up to the Georgia Court of Appeals to decide if they want to review the decision not to disqualify Willis and her office. This appeal doesn’t pause the prosecution, which continues to play out before trial.

In this highlight from Episode 27 of “Strange Bedfellows” we spoke to longtime Roger Stone attorney and confidant Tyler Nixon about the latest round of #lawfare against the former president, watch some highlights from the courtroom, and hear his legal analysis of the Fani Willis/Wade affair.

(* This week we will pick up where we left off in Episode 28 hearing voter reactions to Kennedy’s running mate choice Nicole #Shanahan in the second hour of the program.)

If you’ve been following my recent series of podcasts exploring the #RFK assassination around the 55th anniversary of Sirhan Sirhan’s trial, you’ll also find tonight’s panel discussion fascinating (and at times, emotional).

Episode 29 of “#Kennedy Americans” delves into the murder of Senator Robert F. Kennedy on the presidential campaign trail in 1968.

I opened up the floor to a live panel discussion on X (formerly known as Twitter) of the case evidence, conspiracy theories, and opinions as to whether Sirhan is guilty or innocent.

We also talked about Sirhan’s motives for the crime: by his own admission, Sirhan killed Sen. Kennedy because of his outspoken support for #Israel.

Sirhan, a Palestinian who was radicalized politically, turned 80 years old last month — still hoping for parole after 55 years behind bars. Should he be released? We’ll talk about that too.

Finally, we will discuss the obvious parallels between the elections of 2024 and 1968, and the unique security risks posed to #RFKJr since the #Gaza war began.

The Department of Homeland Security has refused #RFK Secret Service protection five times now. The #Kennedy24 campaign made a sixth request in March 2024.

Elon Musk’s cybernetic implant company, #Neuralink, just released a video of its first brain chip patient using his mind to play chess on a computer.

Noland Arbaugh, a 29-year-old paralyzed below the shoulders after a diving accident, demonstrated how he could control the cursor on his laptop with nothing other than his thoughts.

He used Neuralink’s wireless brain-computer interface (BCI) to play computer chess and discussed his surgery in a video viewed more than 15 million times on X, the social media platform owned by Musk.

“The surgery was super easy,” Arbaugh said. “I literally was released from the hospital a day later. I have no cognitive impairments.”

We will show you that astonishing video tonight on Maverick News.

Rick and I will also discuss the pros and cons of how Neuralink could change the world for the better (or worse), and the ethics of this #technology.

Finally, we will leave the question to you, the viewer: would YOU take the Neuralink brain chip?

Join us tonight at 9 PM Eastern!

On Easter Sunday, as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin #Netanyahu was under full anesthesia for hernia surgery, and the reins of power were temporarily in the hands of his deputy, tens of thousands of protesters surrounded the #Knesset in #Jerusalem demanding an election now.

Rumors began to spread online that Netanyahu had died from complications during surgery (and many #Israel-haters openly celebrated). Even if the Prime Minister makes a full recovery there can be no doubt that Netanyahu is facing a major crisis that hampers the stability of his country, his ability to govern, and to win the war against #Hamas.

The #Biden administration’s recent pivot on #Gaza, and Sen. Charles Schumer’s recent call for elections — an effective regime change in Israel — signal that the tide is turning (at least with #Democrats) against our longtime ally in the Middle East.

Remember when Chuck #Schumer told CBS News that if you piss off the CIA “they have six ways from Sunday of getting back at you?” Netanyahu’s about to get regime changed.

It looks like a color revolution is brewing in Israel. On Sunday, demonstrators in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem in front of the Knesset opened tents and announced that they would not leave until the government fell. They set fires in the streets and spoke of plans to storm the Knesset and topple the government.

Is #Biden planning another Maidan-style coup like he did in #Ukraine a decade ago?

And isn’t it interesting timing that Netanyahu suddenly is told he has to have “emergency surgery” Sunday morning, and must hand over power to his deputy while under full anesthesia? What better time for Biden’s “come to Jesus” moment than Easter Sunday?

President Biden knows he will only get a two-state solution over Netanyahu’s dead body. So perhaps the CIA is helping to arrange that.

If an assassination or a coup d’etat happens in Israel, remember you heard it here first.

On Episode 31 of “Strange Bedfellows” Rabbi Michael Barclay and I discussed the Biden administration’s betrayal of Israel, the U.S. plan to topple Netanyahu’s government, and how #Jews — who traditionally vote for the Democratic Party — feel backstabbed by Biden!

As the 2024 election season heats up with the #SuperTuesday primaries, I’ve pulled another historic news broadcast out of my archives to share with you.

Here’s a rare recording from KLBJ-AM & FM in #Austin, #Texas, where I worked in various capacities as a news reporter, anchor, and #radio personality for several years in the 1990s.

The #LBJ Broadcasting Company was owned and operated by the family of President Lyndon Baines Johnson (Former First Lady Lady Bird Johnson, and Luci Baines Johnson.) During the 1990s the family of stations included KLBJ-AM, KLBJ-FM, KAJZ-FM, and KGSR-FM.

This is our evening newscast on the eve of the Super Tuesday Primaries of March, 1996. (Note: I worked under the on-air name of Alison Fox.)

Stories include: Super Tuesday Primary Election Coverage, help for #Austin #HIV/#AIDS patients, new entertainment show “Imprint” coming to Austin; #SXSW Music and Film Festival, and more.

(Cards handed out at Bill Hicks’ 1994 funeral.)

Feb. 26 marked 30 years since Bill Hicks passed away.

Bill was a friend of mine back in the 80s/90s, and I hosted a live X Space Monday night in his honor.

Thought it might be fun to sit around the virtual campfire, tell some jokes, share some memories, and celebrate Bill’s life.

We played some clips of his best comedy bits, talked about all the amazing things Hicks accomplished in his short 32 years, and wonder what else he might have created had he lived 30 more.

Of course we couldn’t refrain from some speculation about what Bill Hicks would think of our world today. His observations three decades ago are still remarkably relevant, and nearly all of the problems our country faced then still haven’t been solved. (In fact, they’ve gotten worse!)

In Part 2, we hear Bill talking about the #JFK assassination, government conspiracies and cover-ups, lying politicians, gays in the military, and many more problems that we, as a society, still grapple with 30 years later.

The anti-intellectualism Bill talked about in 1989’s “Sane Man” comedy special was just a joke then….or was it?

35 years later, we aren’t laughing anymore. Did Bill have a crystal ball or what?

Did he have a time machine; or was he an alien who was visiting our planet only for 32 years, before the spaceship picked him up and took him home?

We talked about all that and more. If you missed this three-hour comedy special live, catch Part 1 tonight at 8 PM Eastern.

UPDATE: YouTube CENSORED and removed Part 1! Watch it UNCENSORED on Rumble here.

Part 2 was also CENSORED by YouTube. You can watch it exclusively on Rumble.

Just goes to show that even 30 years after his death, corporate America still isn’t ready for Bill Hicks! He’s still being censored from beyond the grave.

While Poland once had Europe’s largest Jewish population, numbering over three million before #WWII, around 85% were killed during the #Holocaust and many others fled in the postwar period. There are now only 15,700 people who identify as #Jews in #Poland, according to the 2021 census.

Polish state research agency CBOS found that 29% of Poles say they dislike Jews, up from 27% in 2022. CBOS also found in 2021 that 19% of Poles believe it is “good that [World War Two] resulted in fewer Jews in Poland”.

survey of Jews in 12 EU countries published in 2018 by the EU’s Fundamental Rights Agency found that 85% said #antisemitism is a problem in Poland.

When presented with the antisemitic stereotypes, 62% of people in Poland said it was “probably true” that Jews are more loyal to #Israel than their own country, 57% that they talk too much about what happened to them during the Holocaust, and 53% that they have too much power in the business world and financial markets.

Meanwhile, 36% of Poles find it probably true that Jews “have too much control over global affairs” and “don’t care what happens to anyone but their own kind”. A similar proportion (35%) agreed that “Jews have too much control over the United States government” and “think they are better than other people”.

Finally, 34% of people in Poland said it is probably true that “people hate Jews because of the way Jews behave”, 27% that “Jews have too much control over the global media”, and 10% that “Jews are responsible for most wars.”

Poland ranks second-highest in #Europe for anti-Semitic attitudes, behind Hungary (37%), and ranking slightly above Ukraine (29%) and Russia (26%), according to a May 2023 ADL study.

In this highlight from Episode 25 of “Strange Bedfellows” we discussed the rise of antisemitism in the country with Dr. Mike Krupa, a conservative historian in Poland.

We asked Mike to explain the shocking incident that captured the world’s attention back in December 2023 when a Polish lawmaker used a fire extinguisher to douse the candles on a Hanukkah menorah in Parliament, also spraying a Jewish woman in the face.

Last week Poland’s Parliament voted to lift immunity so that the Confederation party lawmaker, Grzegorz Braun, can face charges.

If convicted of destruction of property, insulting a religious symbol and hurting a person he could face up to five years in prison. Dr. Krupa knows Mr. Braun personally and has some interesting insights to share about the motives behind his actions.

We also discuss Elon Musk’s recent visit to the Auschwitz death camp, and his recent summit in Poland on combating antisemitism.

If you enjoyed this highlight, watch our 2-hour interview with Dr. Krupa on Episode 25. You can find all previous shows archived in the “Strange Bedfellows” playlist on my YouTube channel.

Texas Music Legends Buddy Holly, Richie Valens & The Big Bopper played their last concert 65 years ago today on February 2, 1959, at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa.

The trio perished together the next morning, February 3, when their small plane crashed in a snowy Iowa cornfield. The tragedy was later memorialized by Don McLean in his song “American Pie” as “the Day the Music Died.”

On this #FlashbackFriday, I’ve pulled a vintage newscast from my radio archives of my reporting on this somber anniversary for all Texas music lovers.

This recording comes from the 40th anniversary on Feb. 3, 1999, and includes a rare 1959 radio advertisement for the “Winter Dance Party” at the Surf Ballroom.

This clip comes from a reel of various news reports from KLBJ-AM & FM in #Austin, #Texas, where I worked in various capacities as a news reporter, anchor, and #radio personality for several years in the 1990s.

This aircheck is a collection of various news reports I filed for KLBJ between 1996-2000.

(Note: I worked under the on-air name of Alison Fox.)

Other stories in this aircheck include: Amtrak Dropping the Texas Eagle route through #Texas; consumers sue 6 major record companies for overpricing compact disks; TWA Flight 800 victims from Central Texas identified; blues piano legend “The Grey Ghost” Roosevelt Williams dead at 92; Louisiana plane crash kills Lt. Col. Henry Chu from San Antonio and his 5 year-old daughter; new book about 70 years of personality radio; Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Weirdest Laugh Contest; Baby Acapulco Barton Springs Restaurant Suffers Major Fire Damage; #Austin Drivers Complain That the 183/MoPac Access Ramp Is Unsafe.

55 years ago this month, the trial of Sirhan Sirhan got underway for the murder of 1968 Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. #Kennedy. The trial lasted three months.

Eventually the jury found him guilty of first degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to commit murder (five counts; one for each of the other people Sirhan shot).

The official motive for Sirhan’s murder of #RFK was “anti-#Zionism.”

After he was captured by Kennedy’s bodyguards, witnesses in the Ambassador Hotel kitchen heard Sirhan say: “I can explain. I did it for my country. I love my country.”

On Episode 20 of the “Kennedy Americans” podcast, we took a deep dive into the evidence for both the prosecution and the defense. Was Sirhan a mind-controlled patsy, or a Palestinian terrorist?

Whether Sirhan fired the fatal shots that killed #RFK or not — a topic that is still debated among historians of the case today — there is no doubt that Sirhan is heralded as a hero in the Palestinian Liberation Movement for assassinating Senator Kennedy (an act Sirhan claims he has no memory of).

Shortly after the RFK assassination, Al #Fatah, the Arab Commando organization, distributed thousands of posters with pictures of Sirhan over the words, “I did it for my country!”

In September 1970 the Popular Front for the Liberation of #Palestine (PFLP) hijacked three passenger planes and demanded the release of Sirhan Sirhan from prison. After releasing the hostages, the Palestinian hijackers blew up one of the planes on a Cairo runway “in retaliation for the United States’ support of #Israel.”

Three Arabs hijacked a West German jumbo jet in February 1972 on which RFK’s eldest son Joseph P. Kennedy (then 19 years old) was a passenger. The plane, on a flight from New Delhi to Athens, landed safely eight hours later at Aden, Southern #Yemen. That specific flight was targeted because the terrorists knew Kennedy would be on board.

In 1973, when the Black September group burst into the embassy of Saudi Arabia in Khartoum and took 10 hostages, their demands included the release of Sirhan Sirhan from prison.

Sirhan told David Frost in a 1989 interview: “I wanted to show that the Palestinian problem didn’t just erupt with the assassination of #Kennedy,” a reference to the displacement of Palestinians after the Arab-Israeli war of 1948.

“If I had shot Bobby Kennedy in an Arab country, I doubt any Arab court would have convicted me,” he said with a smile.

By killing RFK Sirhan advanced the cause of the Palestinians, a cause which promoted the return of Arab land from the state of Israel.

He told Robert Kaiser in 1969, “They (the Palestinians) want action. They want results. Hey! I produced action for them. I’m a big hero over there.”

Sirhan Sirhan is now 79. If he is ever released on parole he will most likely be deported immediately back to Palestine or Jordan because he is not a U.S. citizen. Will he receive a hero’s welcome in the Arab world? We can only wonder.

In this highlight from Episode 24 of “Strange Bedfellows” I discuss with guest Caleb Maupin growing concerns over #RFKJr’s safety as he now finds himself treading the same dangerous waters that inflamed his father’s convicted killer: campaigning for president on an antiwar platform while staunchly supporting Israel’s war against #Hamas, attracting death threats from mentally ill stalkers and political fanatics while left unprotected by the U.S. Secret Service.

Watch the premiere tonight at 9 P.M. Eastern.
